Brief Biography
H.E. Mr. Mazen Al-Sudairi serves as Chairman of the Board of the Capital Market Authority, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Financial Academy.
Throughout his career, Mr. Al-Sudairi has held a number of prominent leadership positions, including: Advisor at the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, Head of Research at Al Rajhi Capital, and Head of Sales Research at Alistithmar Capital. He also worked as an Analyst at Samba Capital, and as a Financial Analyst at Degroof Bank in Belgium.
Mr. Mazen holds a Master’s degree in Financial Analysis from ISG International Business School in France, and a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from King Saud University. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute, and the CMT charter from the CMT Association, in addition to completing a number of executive leadership programs at global institutions, including INSEAD and London Business School, among others.
