Brief Biography
Mr. Abdulaziz Abdulmohsen bin Hassan has served as a Member of the Board of the Capital Market Authority since 2023. He brings more than 33 years of professional experience across financial markets, investment banking, asset management, and alternative investments. Throughout his career, he has held several prominent executive and leadership positions, including Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Credit Suisse Saudi Arabia and serving on Credit Suisse’s MENAT Operating Committee. He also served as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of both Arabian Capital and Rana Investment Company and held senior leadership positions at Samba Financial Group and Bank Muscat. His board experience includes serving on the Board of Directors of the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul), chairing the Board of Al Alamiya for Cooperative Insurance Company, and serving on the boards of Saudi Fransi Capital and Al Faisaliah Group.
Mr. Bin Hassan holds a bachelor’s degree in law from King Saud University and a Diploma in Strategic Alignment from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. He currently serves as Vice-Chairman of the CMA’s Digital Transformation Committee and as a Member of the Human Resources Development Committee.
